Cottage

They kids just love the water- It has been hot so far at the cottage and they are constantly in the water - Having a great time

Cottage Time!

Scout has now joined the Golden Retreivers who swim club! She went in (by mistake at first) off the end of the dock - and she swims really well- I honestly did not know that their feet are actually webbed- but it all makes sense now- She is having a great time at the cottage

And she likes barking at the water from the dock too!

She is thinking of jumping in- but still hesitates- here she and I are having a little showdown.

Molly and Spencer on the other hand- you can't keep 'em out of the water- they are having a blast.

Last of the pitcures of Steph's garden- I realize now that the pictures appear in the reverse order from which I selected them- So from now on I will have to select them backwards- Oh well- Enjoy-


Scout looking quite regal - and guarding the front door- As you can see she is a vicious attack dog- No sane minded criminal would dare approach a home guarded by her!

Last weekend we put down a black slate floor in the kitchen- It was quite a bit of work- but we are delighted with the way it turned out-

Summer Time- easy living!

Molly is being taught the fine points of napping by the best- Charlie is a wonderful sensi- and Molly is learning well.

Then Mom and Scout arrive to wake every one up


Steph's garden is looking really good this year- it has filled in quite a bit and the flowers are beautiful- here are some close ups of the various flowers in the garden.
 

LOBSTER!!!

This sucker is pretty much the biggest Lobster I have ever seen. From our visit to Peggy's Cove back in the Fall. I think this guy is 35 years old- and quite a catch. Susie would remember how much he weighed- But apparently he is too old to eat-
